Help the Midwest’s 1:1 districts learn from each other about innovative teaching, learning, and administrative practices that are occurring in their districts;
Build excitement and ‘buzz’ around 1:1 laptop computing initiatives in the Midwest; and
Help others who are interested in 1:1 computing learn more about how to get started and be successful.

Teachers will practice developing their own presentation while the presentor provides guided practice. Student understanding of search methods and Microsoft Word or Microsoft Powerpoint is important. A sample bibliography will be provided.
The main topic will be The History of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States 1954 to 1974. Individual team research topics will be assigned at the start of the presentation. Computers needed.
